AKLease signed a new loan agreement with EBRD

AKLease signed a new loan agreement for EUR 25 million with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The loan will provide financing for investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Supporting investments from different sectors with its expert leasing solutions, AKLease signed a loan agreement for EUR 25 million with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The loan will be used for financing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

Regarding the new agreement Eser Okyay, the General Manager of AKLease which has been the leader in the sector for 35 years, stated: “As AKLease, the loan agreement we signed with EBRD will be a breath of fresh air for our customers who want to implement environmentally friendly investments. The investments which we will support under ECOLease, which is the first and only sustainability product in the Turkish leasing sector, will also make significant contributions to our country's economy. We want to strengthen and grow our position in the sector in terms of sustainability and energy finance through ECOLease. Our commitment is that our entire portfolio will consist of ECOLease products by 2030 and thereby we will have a 100% sustainability-focused product portfolio. The loan agreements we have signed also give us a great deal of strength on this path and bring us closer to this commitment.”
