ITFC Implements Its First Leasing Sector Agreement in Türkiye with AKLease

AKLease blazed a trail in Türkiye’s leasing sector through its agreement with ITFC. This €15 million two-year term financing aims to address the pre-import and pre-export needs of SMEs while also providing funding for ECOLease, an environmentally friendly financial product that prioritizes sustainability.

AKLease entered into a significant collaboration that will contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. Under the agreement signed with the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), AKLease secured €15 million in financing with a two-year term. This facility will be used to meet the pre-import and pre-export financing needs of the private sector, particularly SMEs, as well as to support green projects and sustainable business models. The agreement will also reinforce AKLease’s environmentally friendly financing product, ECOLease.
